What a game that was. Best orange kit of all time. Thompson thunderbolt. Whelan header breaking the net about 2 foot in front of us. You know when you’ve been tango’d. Pitch invasion. Me and my brother saw every game home and away that season, the one and only time we’ve done that. The season started pretty normal, a few at Blackburn away maybe, but boy did it build into something special. It does feel like that season.

That was a great feeling , we are just so used to being disappointed for best part of 20 years, I’m not counting any chickens until Fleetwood is done, BUT, no one will relish playing us at the moment. Wycombe will hopefully be another game that I go to a bag of nerves and come away having seen a clinical performance!

Yes it was many years past since that away game and a solid performance that day as yesterday but i’m like you.But i fear Fleetwood more than Barnsley just don’t know why maybe their style.
