Feels like destiny doesn't it? 21:50 - Apr 18 with 1267 viewsMullet

We just will not go away and nor will Plymouth. Both got a game in hand and points/goals enough ahead of Wednesday now to put the pressure on them.

Vale tried to be our worst nightmare in every aspect and even that didn't come off. Thought the ref had a decent game, but they were sh1thousing so much he was going to miss stuff. Wasn't expecting him to award that penalty at first to be honest.

Edwards really made a difference for me - came on at the right time and caused just enough chaos to tip them when so many others had worked so hard already.

Last time I was this confident about a Town team, it was the Wemburley boys.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Heck of a win to grind out from 1-0 down, the sort of sticky games that top teams find a way to win.

The games are running out for the Wendies, 8 points from our 4 *guarantees us top 2. Them slipping up makes that goal easier of course, but frankly it matters not what they do if we can get 8 points. COYB.

*barring a goal difference catastrophe.

Yep, Edwards was the gamechanger tonight and really rattled them just when we needed something different. Vale defended so well for so long and we needed someone to throw them off their stride. Can't blame them for the tme wasting but it was gòod to see how it bit them on the bum at the end.

I think tonight ends it for them because both of us came back to win - in their heads all that negativity will be mixed with so much doubt their fans won't get behind them now.

Would have been easy to doubt McKenna when Davis came off and a gamble on Edwards but it worked well. Then at 2-1 Broady off, JD on, solidifying defence. So nice to see a manager reacting to what's going on on the pitch.

That’s a win at Peterborough or Barnsley then, plus a win in our home game against Exeter and then no less than a point needed at Fleetwood. Really wouldn’t want to be needing to beat Fleetwood to secure automatic promotion. Can you imagine if we’re held only to find our Wednesday have won their game.
