Exeter have lost five in a row 13:40 - Apr 28 with 1766 views | Illinoisblue | And have seven first-teamers out injured. There’s no reason whatsoever to doubt our squad but those stats automatically make me nervous in a way that only football can. Come on Town. Just win. Please. COYB

Exeter have lost five in a row on 13:43 - Apr 28 with 1710 views | FrimleyBlue | Theye've got potentially 5 back for tomorrow and whilst they've lost 5 in a row, they've played the top 6 and only lost 0-1 to plymouth, 2-1 to wednesday and derby etc Yes we can beat them, and we should, but with you, until it's done, you just don't know

Exeter have lost five in a row on 13:47 - Apr 28 with 1636 views | homer_123 | Honestly, feeling quite relaxed about the next two games. by homer_123 28 Apr 2023 10:30Not taking anything for granted at all but for the first time in a long, long time as a Town fan, I have complete faith they will get the job done.
I'm not saying they roll over Exeter and Fleetwood easily but they will get the points necessary to get us out of this league.
I believe, from GC and Ashton down, the mentality and approach is right, they won't have put all this hard work in to let it go now. KM won't let that happen. The lads know what is required and have the mentality to make it happen.
I said, back in late Feb/ early March that I thought we'd win the league - that, even, is still a possibility.
As I say, feeling relaxed and quietly confident that we'll be up by the end of tomorrows match but certainly by the end of the Fleetwood game.

Exeter have lost five in a row on 13:53 - Apr 28 with 1546 views | RobTheMonk | I was watching the snooker the other day and they had a sports psychologist talking about how to deal with pressure. It was an interesting watch and talked about technique and compartmentalising shots. You can have a ridiculous pot or a horror miss, but ultimately there's always another shot that you need to prepare for. Same here, but for matches. We prepare for the game, we play the game, we move on to the next one. Yes there will be probably some added pressure, but the training the players do will help as they can fall back on training methods for the game.

Pity Mansfield didn’t come up last season, we’d already be up.

These last few months I have to agree. I go into the weekend "we'll beat these today". I have to say I was relieved at the Broadhead penalty vs Port Vale. I'm not saying thjis is a best team of my lifetime as we are in the 3rd division, but its one of the few times I turn up to games pretty much expecting to win, and don't get worried if we go 1 down.
