Really gutted for KVY 10:07 - May 24 with 1596 views | Deano69 | Wasn’t that long ago I would have been pleased if we had built the team around him. Shame to see him go.

Really gutted for KVY on 10:18 - May 24 with 1518 views | Nutkins_Return | Agree although this will be good for him I hope. What a terrific signing he will be for someone in L1. If he gets regular football I wouldn't be surprised if he can reach bigger heights! He would be very good for a Derby or a Wed/Barnsley Keough should go to Wrexham and just go and enjoy the buzz. Penney should go back the Motherwell as found a groove and a home there.

Being released has its benefits for the player - as a free agent, it is easier for a new club to sign them, with no fee to the previous one and only two parties to the negotiation. Plus they are not limited to the window, so the possibility remains to be hired as cover/reinforcement even during the season. Yes, it leaves the player without a job, but I'd be very surprised if those we've released who wish to continue playing do not find teams who want them.

Really gutted for KVY on 10:37 - May 24 with 1446 views | thebooks | Yes, this is a sad one. I remember his goal against Tranmere and thinking we'd be lucky to keep him for a season before losing him to a PL team. Hope he goes on to do well somewhere.
Really gutted for KVY on 10:43 - May 24 with 1411 views | RobTheMonk | This is what I said in the other thread: I'll miss KVY. He always seem to have a bit of a maverick streak to him where he'd suddenly take on about 6 players, do 12 stepovers and then smash a shot in from 35 yards on his weaker foot. I don't think he'll have any problems finding another club. Still only 27!

He'd be a good pick up for a Wycombe, if they ware wanting to transition to a more easier on the eye style which i think they are planning to do.
Really gutted for KVY on 11:37 - May 24 with 1232 views | wkj | Sadly his body doesn't seem to match his ability. He was a good signing but David Artell might have been right... Perry Ng looks to have been the better option. Crewe Boss Launches Bizarre Attack on Town 16th Aug 2019 13:56Crewe manager David Artell has launched a bizarre attack on Town for agreeing to pay Colchester £500,000 for Kane Vincent-Young rather than making a move for Alex right-back Perry Ng, who he believes is the best player in that position in League Two. 37

I can't see Keough going anywhere now, except into someones coaching team. Wouldn't be at all surprised if we find out in August that he's been at Playford Road, 'Helping out' with the U23s
