Not sure “ born in Brentwood” would be classed as “ local”. He’s a Londoner and has always been Wet Spam through and through. He’s spent most of the season on the bench for them getting the odd few mins here snd there . He didn’t even come off the subs bench tonight. At 24yr old he’s hardly the bright new young thing is he! He threw his toys out of the pram and threw a wobbly when he didn’t get what he wanted whilst under contract with Town and his discipline on the pitch is none to great either. ITFC was an easy payday for him and the rest of that lamentable mob who never really showed a true desire to play for the shirt. Spineless relegation followed by the bleak seasons in League One.
Don't really blame him for wanting to leave us but he stayed so do your best for the club. Did he do so? Not in my opinion.

Why would a player who was clearly good enough to be part of a team that has won a European trophy want to hang around in the 3rd tier of English football. There was previous interest, but he stayed because he said he wanted to help get us promoted, I remember him saying that after Tranmere away.
He was terribly managed by certain managers, and I don't blame him at all for wanting to go to a higher league. | |
