Strikers - Good or Bad window? 11:49 - Jul 12 with 1783 views | bluesbrothers | If we signed Hirst and Bishop, would people see that as job well done, or slightly disappointed? Feel really guilty saying this, but think I'd be the latter. Would/would've loved Surridge.

Strikers - Good or Bad window? on 11:52 - Jul 12 with 1743 views | the_toff | I can’t see Bishop being a serious link. Hirst & Ladapo, plus a premier league loanee would be fine for me. Especially as we play a system with 1 up top, 3 options is ample.

It definitely is or was. At least two bids rejected - although we were surprised by the fee being asked for. Think the Pan Cam stuff is all linked too.
Hirst would be a really good signing imo on 11:56 - Jul 12 with 1670 views | Dyland | He was getting better and better, and even in his first few games you could see his quality. I'll put my neck on the line and say if he signs here permanently and stays fit, he'll be one of the major reasons we have a good season (IF we have one) and the national media will start banging on about him.

Strikers - Good or Bad window? on 12:16 - Jul 12 with 1519 views | Mediocre_Quick | Weren't the links to Bishop put to bed as false? Or not happening at least? I think Hirst is the priority with him and Fred as the focal points of our attack, wouldn't surprise me to see a young PL loanee in in the ilk of TJJ to back them up

Like several of our players last season McKennas coaching improved him noticeably. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

They may no longer be a thing (not sure), but there was definitely bids made
Strikers - Good or Bad window? on 12:55 - Jul 12 with 1243 views | Herbivore | Not interested in Bishop. If we signed just Hirst I'd be okay with that, ideally would like Hirst plus a TJJ type who can play as a 9 but can also play as a 10 or wide forward.

Beat me to it, was thinking exactly that..... Although I wouldn't mind if we signed a kind of project/understudy striker, someone like Leburn at Charlton, for example. Ideally though, a hybrid who can play 10 or 9 as cover for 9 and as rotation for 10's position., imo
