This is quite a step up in class for us. Particularly with a few guys missing.
Anyone fearful of a tonking like the Arsenal / Palace games last season? (which ultimately was good experience for us despite shipping 9 goals)
On the other hand, we have played better against peer/higher level opponents in Preston & Luton.

Slightly different in that it's 2 different 11's playing on the same day, so you can't take the results too seriously. I don't mind us getting slapped if it gives us something to sharpen up on (particularly at the back).
Seems like first halves at Luton + Preston were closest to first team 11's. |  | | |

Don't care about the scores, they'll be good to learn from, Leipzig in particular have such a defined way of playing that I'm sure KM already takes bits from. We won't be near full strength but this will be a learning exercise, and a high intensity one, for those who go. | |

For the first time since 1999, I have absolute faith in the running of the club - that includes on and off the pitch.
Just looking forward to the season actually starting. For me, the pre season fixtures are like drinks at the pub before heading to the club. |  |
