Woolf was at fault for the second goal. The player starts out in front of him as the ball is out wide on the right. As it is played back in centre he allows his man to drift from him to Clarke, when Clarke has little to know time to get goal side of the attacker. As the ball is played in he misjudges the slight swing and therefore misses the head. Clarke, given the he is still not goal side does well to get something on it. Unfortunately for him, the touch ends up going past Hladky. More generally, I thought it was one of Woolf's poorer games. As for Clarke, he's still not showing his defensive ability, but looks much better going forward now. Hopefully he can get back to his defensive best. I hope it is still due to the result of the injury and he hasn't hit a ceiling defensively. | |
