Obvs I hope it's not necessary for at least a couple of seasons but I'm sure Ashton must have a plan. I wonder if the plan is to promote from within? Kieran has praised his assistant manager Martyn Pert and we have two first-team coaches- Charlie Turnbull and Lee Grant. There's a risk that if KM does leave, he'll take his team with him. I wonder if any of the senior players (e.g. Sone Aluko) could step up to the mark. Clearly the risk of promoting from within is the lack of experience but: a) KM was inexperienced and b) The successor might more easily perpetuate KM's methods than an outsider.
What do you think? Promote from within or bring in a young manager from outside the club?

Oh good. I love 4 4 f#cking 2. It would be a relief to get away from tippy tappy nonsense. This current brand of football is doing my head in. Get it forward and into the mixer ffs.
Sorry, but this really isn’t a thread need right now do we. It just causes uncertainty , unrest when we should continue to enjoy the moment we are in during this fantastic season.
