How many full internationals have we got in the current squad and what is the most we have had (presumably in the late 70s and early 80s)?
Burgess Luongo Morsy Baggott Evans Burns Aluko
Have I missed anyone? EDIT: Broadhead and Donacien makes 9. Further edit: El Mizouni has played for Tunisia. That makes 10 if we include out on loan as current squad.
Full internationals on 08:11 - Oct 14 by Woolfenthen
Camara - Guinea Bissau Hutchinson - Jamaica
Does that make 80/81 and this season both have 12 internationals in the squad (except with the proviso that two of this season's are out on loan and so technically not within the squad and the further proviso that the quality of the international sides represented was very much a higher level in 80/81)?
Burley Butcher Osman Mills Thyssen Wark Muhren Mariner Gates Brazil As well as Hunter and O’Callaghan
Add Beattie.
McCall got an England B cap but not a full one. I would imagine that d'Avray would have represented South Africa in a modern situation.
Was O'Callaghan's first international appearance in the 80/81 season or the following one? EDIT: Looks like O'Callaghan's Irish debut was in that season so that makes it 13 for the 80/81 squad. Need one more to play from the current squad this season (or a new signing in January to) to match them. Quite remarkable really.
