There's a chance that all top 4 sides finish with 100+ points:
Leicester currently 78/33 = 2.36 pts per game. 13 games left require 22 to hit 100 points. 22/13 = 1.69 pts for those remaining games.
Leeds currently 69/33 = 2.09 pts per game. 13 games left require 31 to hit 100 points. 31/13 = 2.38 pts for those remaining games.
Southampton currently 67/32 = 2.09 pts per game. 14 games left require 33 to hit 100 points. 33/14 = 2.36 pts for those remaining games.
Ipswich currently 66/32 = 2.06 pts per game. 14 games left require 34 to hit 100 points. 34/14 = 2.43 pts for those remaining games.
Leicester seem nailed on to finish with at least 100 points.
Initial reaction is to discount the other 3 from getting 100 points given the significant improvement in pts/game required. However all 3 teams have been through a bad patch and are emerging stronger for the final 13/14 games.
To give an indication of the scale of the task, we (ITFC) could get the 34 points required to hit 100 by winning 11, drawing 1 and losing 2 of our remaining 14 games
Overall, it's a long shot (esp as all four teams have to play each other at least once) but it's feasible.
What a season this is turning out to be and it's incredible and a source of immense pride that Ipswich, newly promoted from League One, are such a big part of it. [Post edited 18 Feb 2024 13:54]

It's mad. In every other Championship season in history we'd be 23 or 24 points away from sealing promotion. That would only require 6 wins, 6 draws and 2 defeats from our remaining 14 games, and when you look at the games we have left to play, you'd fancy that that's pretty doable for a side who have only lost 4 games all season. This year, that's going to be nowhere near enough. We're likely to end up being the best newly promoted side in the history of the Championship and it still may well not be enough for automatic promotion. For comparison, Saints went up with 88 points and Scum with 84 the season beforehand. |  |

In 1991/92 we won the division with 84 points. We lost 10 games and had acquired 53 points at this stage. This season, like last, is nuts. |  | | |

It is remarkable that we are up there with Leicester, Leeds and Southampton and we are having a great season. It’s remarkable not only because we are newly promoted but mostly because we have no parachute money. And is it really great? Or is it just that those three teams have a massive financial advantage that others have little to no chance of competing with?
