A few mentions in local media around Leeds that they are interested in him following his loan season there but are concerned we will land him.

Is he a significant upgrade on what we have?

Yes, comfortably.

From what I read on him he has attracted a lot of interest, good defender, and can play.

Add to that his potential once KM gets his grubby hands on him… what’s not to like

We’ll be good again... one day

I think he would be a great signing, he can play on either side of a 2 or 3. The intersection of the Venn diagram isn't that big really when you're talking good quality, good age with future growth potential, but also with good experience and within our gift to actually attract here.

I think Rodon, Tuanzebe, Burgess, Woolfenden is probably a nice balance. Davis on the left, and Clarke as an option on the right but with a view to bringing in a new right back and some cover for Leif I would think. Presumably it would see Edmundson move on as well as JD of course.

Seems a fair bit of traction on this including MOT. McKennas links to Spurs will help and it will annoy Leeds if we step in and take him as they are keen for him to return

I think crucially this was one that did not receive the dreaded "nothing in this from what I have been told" from Phil.

Has there been an actual reported link yet other than he is on a lot of peoples wishlist? Nothing to deny yet!

I know people won't want to hear it, but it would not be a certainty we would get him over Leeds. In his mind, give it a year and we might swap places in the football pyramid.

Good age, good size, good pedigree, some experience in the top flight in biggish teams in two countries. Has always looked handy when I've seen him play, which is probably only half a dozen times to be fair.

I think he'd be an upgrade. Would cost a fair chunk of change, but I think we'll need to pay out three or four such fees in order to compete.
