1) Newcastle as it's always a good weekend away 2) west ham - nice local game 3) cpfc - i have plenty of mates who are season ticket holders at palace so be a good game to attend
Caveat - i'd imagine it'll be difficult to get tkts to west ham and palace, west ham will probably be as tough as norwich to get
1) Etihad - fancy a Manchester weekender 2) Olympic Stadium 3) WHL 4) Brentford 5) King Power
Revisit - due to substantial redevelopment since last visit Anfield Stamford Bridge
From memory the etihad is a bit outside the city centre so bedt to get a tram to it, old trafford is opposite a travel lodge but Manchester is a great weekend away

What's the betting we get them on a Monday night. Chances of a Saturday 3pm k.o. are non-existent
Don't think that neutral away end still exists. Happy to be proved wrong though . . . .
The Putney End sits adjacent to the Cottage pavilion, offering the nearest point to the players’ entrance & the iconic Cottage itself, which was constructed in 1905. Prior to the Riverside development taking place, this area was famed for its neutral seating section. Owing to capacity constraints, the stand is now split into Home and Away fans only, although the concourse may well still be shared. with a non Suffolk address, I guess getting tickets for some of the London away games next season should be possible, as long as one is prepared to sit with the home fans & shut up. I managed that at QPR & Watford last season.
Take a pair of binoculars to St James Park. 17 flights of stairs to get to your seat in the heavens and the players look like subbuteo pieces on a board!

Sunderland was a bit like that. Must be something about the North East.
Very different from my two previous visits to Newcastle. Standing at the Leazes End, crowds of ~18k, different times.
I’m a bit gutted there’s so many London games but haven’t done any of the stadiums bar Selhurst I think, due to all the changes. Ticking some of those off will be good.
Anfield will be top I think as the Etihad is soulless.

Oh, God, I remember the seemingly light years coach trip to Sundetlands Roker Park. Most Town fans were in fancy dress for some reason snd thd away fans numbers in those days was MUCH less than it is now. It eax bloody freezing and the Roker Roar was something special nonetheless. Haven't done SOL ... so many new stadia I'd like to see this coming season, but suspect getting tickets will be a problem.
