Indeed, England winning would only top off a wonderful couple of years! If not, so be it. Towns survival next season is a much more important goal for me.

Funnily enough, I was just thinking how relaxed I was about the next three hours or so.

I was a gibbering wreck between the Hull and Coventry games.

Exactly, when people ask if you will cry if England win tonight. Answer is an easy no. It just doesn't mean as much as club football.

May 4th I was blubbing like a baby.

Outside of the match I am more relaxed about England but once the game starts I'm as emotionally invested as I am with Ipswich.

I will also be as devastated as when we were relegated if Englands lose tonight, but the recovery time will be far quicker.

Me too. Strange. I’m actually looking forward to the game tonight. I was dreading Coventry, Hull because I knew we’d mess it up and would finish losing to the chain gang eleven up the road in the play offs. But then….

Omen? That. I also had the best round of golf I’ve had for a good few years yesterday, we face Liverpool in a month and I’ll be there. I’ll cling on to any old nonsense.
