Full refund - was actually speaking to the CEO of Edgbaston about it a couple of years back and they are insured for millions of pounds for loss of earnings on days that aren’t played in test matches now. Don’t know how they value the premium in this day and age but I imagine bazball hasn’t made the underwriting any easier.
Would be a lot of food and beer not sold, full refunds to ticket holders and corporate as well as a lot of disappointed zero hours local staff. Test matches that don’t go at least four days have a huge economic knock on for the local area. | | | |
