So, let's rank out new signings then 11:39 - Aug 31 with 2345 views | NedPlimpton | Seem to remember Stuart Watson doing this after the Cook clear out and getting it horribly wrong. So I'd imagine this will go a similar way, but here goes 1. Clarke 2. Greaves 3. Omari 4. Delap 5. Szmodics 6. Phillips 7. Cajuste 8. O'Shea 9. Ogbene 10. Muric 11. Johnson 12. Townsend

Well yes, but there's no fun in doing it once we've actually seen them for a full season. This is purely pre-emptive, based on how excited I am to see them/how I think they'll get on

I'm going to have fun watching them all realise their potential, and as they do, see KMcK's value rise even higher. Perhaps I'm being dull but I'm not really one for ranking my team's players, I'm excited about all of them.

Hope so. He's a pretty big unknown for me but must have some pedigree to have played where he has and to featured regularly for Sweden I liked what I saw against Wimbledon

I've ranked them in order of how badly our fans will pronounce or spell their names. 1. Cayusta 2. Shmodicks 3. Murich 4. Ogbenny 5. Graves 6. O'Shay 7. Hutchison 8. Clark 9. Johnstone 10. Townshend 11. Philips 12. De Lap [Post edited 31 Aug 2024 12:52]

O’Shea 11. Delap 12. Townsend I think the likes of Hirst, Burns, Woolfenden, Broadhead could easily find themselves back in the team over some of the new signings.
| They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all! | Poll: | Who should start in CM with Cajuste? |

Bonus points for spelling Delap correctly

Fair play. I thought your idea was to rank them on their likely performances rather than your excitement to see them at Town. My bad.

So, let's rank out new signings then on 13:44 - Aug 31 with 1340 views | Esseeja | 1. Greaves Unreal CB, I honestly think this guy is going to end up becoming world-class over the course of the season. He could actually end up preventing a dozen, or even dozens, of goals against us this season. 2. Szmodics Already scored at the Etihad, and looks a handful. 3. Muric The more this guy will start, the more people will realise just how good this goalkeeper is, and also how he should have started over Trafford which I still think would have prevented Burnley's relegation, based on Burnley's turn in form when he started playing. 4. Clarke I think he'll take to the PL very well. 5. Cajuste Some tackle on this guy. 6. Omari I think Omari will start slow again trying to adapt to this league, but will just get better and better. He should adapt very well to the pressing game in this league. 7. Ogbene Quality competition for Wes Burns. Ogbene is extremely fast. 8. O'Shea Will be helped by Greaves' presence next to him, as I believe Greaves is the type of defender that makes his CB partner(s) better. His pace is going to be crucial if we are to play a higher block in games. 9. Delap Already looked promising in the striker role, but I still think Hirst is currently the better finisher. I still can't decide who I'd prefer up front between him and Hirst, and I think Hirst will be suited to the PL due to his high pressing ability. 10. Phillips It will take longer for Phillips to re-adjust, and a lot of micromanagement from the staff to help him get back to, or near, his best. 11. Johnson Has struggled in the games he's played in, but not performed too poorly. I presumed he was going to be backup to Tuanzebe or Clarke anyway. It's good to have his PL experience, though. 12. Townsend Will mostly be backup to Davis, so may not see him much unless the percieved disaster strikes. [Post edited 31 Aug 2024 13:46]
