"a headline Academy Partner" on 17:26 - Sep 3 by FrimleyBlue
?
That looks like a really good initiative. I see it's in partnership with University of Portsmouth so presumably players are studying BTEC qualifications whilst in the academy. IMHO this is long overdue so those who don't make it or get injured young have a fighting chance of a decent career.
It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
I'm still hoping we are looking at those two Chelsea coach's that recently left the cobham academy. Probably will be on a lot of short lists but they could really help us push towards cat 1

Don't think Neil Bath would ever have come here and now we've appointed a Head of Academy I don't see where Jim Fraser would fit in. Both were well above 'coach' roles in more senior management positions which seems to have now been filled here by Dmitri Halajko.
