I remember a game at Portman Road (I believe it was under Cook) where we were playing it across the back and Nsiala's passing was so poor that he looked like a competition winner.
On the subject of Wrexham, they seem to have taken to League One rather well (as have Stockport). Could they really make it three straight promotions this season?

It could’ve been absolutely any game that Nsiala played for us.

And yet ... the number of goals he prevented by blocking shots.
"Good block by Nsiala" as Brenner Woolley used to say, sometimes more than once per game.
Wouldn't have worked in our current system, not that kind of player at all - ball-playing and high press not his forte. But in the era when we had to desperately defend from unmarked crosses and corners in L1, he did a decent job.

They’re flying. Who dares wins and all that. They’re doing exactly what we did and sticking to their attacking principles. I reckon they’ll do it and I wouldn't be surprised if they’re in the (edit) PL in 2 years. Championship next year is very doable.

If they get up to the Championship at the end of this season, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny would need to spend a hell of a lot more than they currently have just to keep them competitive.
Their current squad is basically the best players from L1, L2, and the National League over the last few seasons.
I remember Chambers being regularly criticised for being out of position when he was partnering Nsiala. Undoubtedly Chambers was coming to the end of his career but I always thought the reason he was out of position was because Nsiala made so many defensive errors. Lovely bloke, not a great signing.

Does a really good block in these highlights funnily enough. He was nowhere near good enough for us but still not a massive fan of the amount thrown his way. There were plenty of poor performers at the time and never felt Nsiala wasnt trying so not his fault. He is/was a decent league one player for a much more direct and basic team.
