we concede a hell of a lot of them and Muric saves a lot of them. We kinda need to cut those out.

Whilst we play the high line we do they will keep coming. Struck me on Sat how Burgess and Woolfie struggled when they were turned round.

Indeed, Muric needs to save less.

Ade Akinbiyi couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo...

For me the biggest issue we’ve shown at the back (centrally) is a lack of pace. Greaves aside ,we really struggle when positionally we’re turned inside out. There’s no margin for error as the Premier League striker’s first touch , for the most , is superb and helps them either into a goal scoring position or at least enables them to get away from the defender

It’s another level innit

Feels like it's happening more than once a game at the moment. Partly why I was frustrated on Saturday after conceding we were way too open and far up the pitch, especially as that is a clear weakness of ours currently.

Always struck me that was the reason for signing O'Shea. Ogbene too, but for different reasons.

aye, we give away far too many chances per game to give ourselves any real chance of staying up.

You're right, but that said, both McKenna and Ashton have been key to mention that we are going to stick to our principles. So I'm not expecting much of a change tactically.

I don't know how stubborn McKenna is going to be on that, but even if we played slightly deeper, that may well help.

agreed and i'm ok with that. Assume he saw Greaves and O'Shea as a partnership to allow us to play this way but the lack of opportunity to get them together is a real hindrance. Defensively this season has been a bit of a disaster really with injuries and calamity.

They're just standard saves that any keeper can make. So no due credit given and he might as well save less, for all the difference it will make with people rubbishing him.

Yes, and after it happened once, it happened again pretty much immediately. Shell-shocked, not learning, or just not quick enough, I don't know.

Punching first is one option but only whe……oh sorry, I thought was one of the MP discussions.
