There is the solution. Instead of VAR drawing lines, have a quick electronic poll of the fans who were in line with the players. Can't see any potential problems with that! Seriously, I am sure they can come up with a better and quicker solution. If they can't, scrapping the offside rule altogether would be an alternative. It would make a big change to the game but would increase entertainment. |  |
