Talking through the teams on Soccer Sunday. Apparently Walton, Broadhead, and Delap are the changes to the side.

How hard is it to read two lists of eleven names, and spot the differences?

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

MoTD said that Saka had been forced off with a hamstring injury 'in the first half versus Ipswich', so it's not exclusive to Sky.

I just wonder where sports journalism has actually gone, Des Lynam and Motty would be spinning in their graves.

They're too busy getting excited over Liverpool v Manchester United later. You can't expect them to pay attention to something as insignificant as Fulham v Ipswich.

I saw a little piece on Motty a few months ago. I was struck by both his relentless preparation and incredible memory.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Actual pre-match Super SUnday show doesn't start until 1pm.

Soccer Sunday is just a Sky Sports News bulletin with a different name.

Was truly an amazing commentator and his preparation for games was notorious

Still prone to the odd gaffe though

I am sure that Des Lynam is not quite dead yet! Currently 82 according to Wikipedia!

Also, is there any danger of them talking about the game that starts in 20 mins, rather than getting long takes from pundits about Man Utd v Liverpool?

The later game on Super Sunday is usually the"bigger" game which receives more coverage. That's always been the case, don't expect much of a review after either, it'll go into the buildup for that match almost straight away.

To be honest, I'm grateful of any buildup after watching the majority of games on Fubo with not a lot of coverage, other than the match.
