Was about to say if Clarke had put in the performances he has (and is today) there'd be loads of threads and comments saying he's not up to the level etc.

Definitely a disappointing signing.

Lightweight, inconsistent on the ball, doesnt really defend or attack effectively.

I don't like picking out individuals too early, but it seems to me that he stands off his man far too much and reacts very slowly, and as you say gives the ball away.

I'd have Godfrey on for him at half time.
