We really need to sign a couple of monsters in there. Luongo, Cajuste and KP will be gone. Morsy is getting older. That will leave us with Taylor and Humphries with legs but neither will be dominant.

Sort that and one (or two) strikers and, if we don’t need to sell, we will have a strong squad next season.

Return of Flynn

You’d think Cajuste would be top of the list.

Either we poach a few CM’s from teams that miss out in the play offs, or shop abroad.

We'll poach a few CM's from teams that miss out in the play offs then.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

Return of Flynn

That would be a great start Flynn plus one other, maybe Sheaf. We can’t rely on Taylor and until we see Humph again who knows

The only Muff in Town.
Poll: Lamberts rotational policy has left us....

Guirane N'Daw and Luke Hyam in midfield. The mind shudders.

Teams in the Premier are packed with fast , physically stronger players from abroad .

Our problem is we need to recruit these sort of players , but it will be almost impossible to get top players like these from abroad when we are in the Championship .

Our team is made up of good honest homegrown players who have struggled to hold the stronger squads in the Premier .

Some of our recent recruitment was made with players for the championship but not able to compete with seasoned players in the premiership.

How many homegrown players did Wolves have today compared to us ?

Cajuste would want a long chat with John Dahl Thomassen before agreeing to play in the Championship. Sweden don't often pick Championship players. (The Stoke goalkeeper is exceptional.) But JDT of course does know what the Championship is about, having managed in it.

Why is he going to stay with us in the Championship? He is a much better player than that standard of football. I can see some of the promoted sides going for him or a club like West Ham, Everton or Palace coming in for him.

Poll: Where are we going to finish?

I am hopeful he may stay, he is good but good enough for an established prem side ? Maybe not, that leaves us in a fight with promoted sides probably paying similar wages, he made noises about liking the area the other week so who knows
