intent to incite. was he really seeking for someone to go and do it? seems implausible to me but i haven't seen the details.
i also find it hard to believe that in the other case there was intent - but being said in the middle of on-going riots makes intent much more of a possibility. | |

The other case involved a guilty plea though, so the only thing you can really argue is how harsh the sentence was - which I do think was incredibly harsh.
I still think if I was in the jury I’d have found him guilty, but guess I can see where the doubt comes from. Cheers | | | |

So intent was baked into the charges. She was actually on her phone at home presumably while this guy was out and about on a megaphone.
The right are going to latch onto this and we need to be very clear about treating people the same. Has the man been treated differently because the recipient(s) were "bad" people and should this make a difference? [Post edited 15 Aug 15:38]
