We are top of the league! on 08:02 - Sep 3 with 797 views | tonybied | You might need to explain this list, it makes no sense to me. How are we top? It doesn't seem to be ordered by net spend, unless my eyes or brain are broken? Edit - nevermind, it is my broken eyes/brain, I've just re-read it. To be fair it's not easy to read on my phone, especially, without my glasses! [Post edited 3 Sep 8:06]

Well this is never right, (as per for Transfermarkt), how on earth can they think Wrexham have only spent 27m Euros? Edit: Because they've included 'undisclosed fees' as £0.00

Which is odd, as all transfer fees are undisclosed, aren't they? When was the last time a club actually released the figures of a transfer?

Don't recall, but they've got Broadhead as £8.4m and both Dominic Hyam and Ben Sheaf as '?'

TransferMarkt is pretty well known for made-up figures, as has been highlighted on here many times.

Gross spend. But we had to spend a lot in the first place to get saleable assets (Hutch/Delap) so net spend isn’t really apples to apples. If anything just shows the financial disparity between the parachute teams and the rest.

Did the missus the Euro sign? That website always does everything in euros. I just looked and it's €8.7m for Broad head, which is equivalent to £7.57m.
We are top of the league! on 09:09 - Sep 3 with 413 views | itfcsuth | No surprise in there really ourselves, Saints and Wrexham are at the upper end, Birmingham invested heavily in L1 (our model), didn’t need to go too heavy this time around. Net we are in the green though, which is crucial after a relegation season to bridge some of the gap for the loss in revenue. The financials aren’t a problem, they look pretty well controlled, I suppose the only question is to whether we’ve got value for money over the past 12 months, I would suggest we haven’t at the moment.
