Hope and would like to think not but there's two sets of fans who aren't particularly keen on him right now.

Thoughts with him.

I have nothing against Manning, especially with how he is doing there right now.

If anyone from any fanbase is sad enough to give any abuse based on what Manning has been through they deserve to be dealt with very severely.

Completely agree, however

With the mood north of the border currently, you might as well hope for the moon on a stick.

I have genuine sympathy for what Liam Manning is going through. One of the reasons for taking the Norwich job was to be closer to his family after the awful loss of his son. It's not gone how he would have wanted and he is under tremendous pressure.

Sometimes I think about the frothing lunatics I’ve put on ignore, who will have kept replying to me again and again, but I don’t even realise they exist.

I think you have missed a not out of your final sentence. But I think some of the nodge fans will think your statement correct and abuse him all the more for it sadly.

Totally agree. A phenomenally difficult time for him and as a parent of a son of a similar age, my thoughts will be with him.

That said, he's chosen a high stakes job. He's under enormous public scrutiny but his salary is higher than most of us can ever dream of. He'll be made of strong stuff and any abuse he might be subjected to this week, he'll handle.

Good luck, Liam.

Goes without saying. Football and rivalries go out of the window for more important stuff like that.

Hope he and his family get through this tricky time without any nonsense from football fans.

Amen to that. Have to say watching the game back the other day they really weren’t that bad and after 9 games calling for his head is ridiculous, but their problem is the stupidly high bar they seem to have set for themselves and him

What a cruel coincidence this fixture pretty much clashes..I expect the vast majority of people will be humane.
