The owner of Leicester City has decided to have an overhaul of the leadership structure to learn from their mistakes and create stronger leadership and clarity going forward...and to appease the fans who have been campaigning for the owner to go.
So they've promoted their Finance Director, who has overseen the worst losses and FFP misses in the club's history, to be CEO. And their technical director, who has been party to some atrocious transfer dealings and multiple head coach firings and is hated by the fans, is to be Chief Football Officer.
Astonishing. One can only assume that Marcus Evans has been advising Top on these moves. His Dad would be very disappointed.
Owners relegate clubs, suspect Leicester will be next to drop. We should be very grateful for Gamechanger and Mark Ashton!
