It's player internationally in both hemispheres and so international cricket does go on every year
The ICC, the Cricket equivalent of FIFA are greedy feckers and have way too many international tournaments
Given they're essentially an events company, it's in their interest to have mkre than they really need sadly |  |

Seemed an odd choice imo to begin with because the dew always affects side batting second more, as in its alot harder to score runs, except they probably went want to chase in those conditions than set a target the home crowd call home, so the bowling & catching let us down.
Don't look at the margin and think oh we could have saved 7 runs somewhere, because the Indians werent bowling to anything but dont no ball at the end that allowed us to clonk sixes they wouldnt have given us if we'd been closer to winning.
We were probably 25-35 runs too generous in the bowling dept to make it winnable, plus India pulled off some exceptional catches whilst we dropped a few.
