Could the pope story be headline now? Something doesn't sit right with giving that muppet airtime for his uninvited opinion.

This. It’s getting way too much attention. Archant boys running with it, too. As if the opinions of a failed club owner turned media rent-a-quote has any value or weight.

ashton's always happy to shoot his mouth off there, so a bit of live by the sword, die by the sword.

that said, the pope story and pope's opinion is far more interesting and relevant than jordan's

If anything, hearing he thinks it's a stupid idea makes me more comfortable with the appointment.

On the rare occasions I’ve heard that pompous idiot gas on, I was left with the feeling that they were minutes of my life I’ll never get back. I’ve never heard him say one worthwhile thing.

Jordan is free to express his opinion privately to Ashton, no problem with that. But going public is really unhelpful and undermines all involved, even if he proves to be right. Pillock.

I enjoy listening to Jordan (in moderation). He is smart, honest and indiscreet.

But he’s nothing like Ashton. There’s no way Ashton would comment that way about someone who another club was about to appoint.

He's too busy slagging off old ladies who have retired from football instead

He’s not smart mate he’s a pseudo intellectual that sounds reasonably bright compared to average Div who calls into to Talksh1te and that monkey he presents with Jim White.

Smart people don’t need to make a tit out of themselves as a professional wind up merchant for a living.

He's still got a massive chip on his shoulder from he lost it all and his boyhood club Palace, he's still harbors hatred towards Parish, and if i'm honest I've rarely heard him say anything positive about footballers or clubs.
