5 goals in 2 games for u18s. Seemed a coup in the summer to get him from Chelsea.
As a young player in Ireland he made his senior debut at 13 (close to 14th birthday) and I think the youngest UK debut in doing so. But genuinely seems a fantastic talent. 17 years old and I wonder if he moves up to u21s this season and we seem him next preseason if all goes well to test him.
Obviously you never know how they progress physically but pretty excited by that lad. |  |

The only downside might be that he came from Chelsea - would they have insisted on some buyback clause that we develop him, he does well, and then they click their fingers to take him back at little benefit to us? |  |

You have to be good enough first....
Let's be real though he's 17 and it's our first season back in the prem (i.e. we aren't Man City or Arsenal where you can bring them on for 20 mins here and there 3-0 up). He won't be playing for our first team for a while. But seems we have game. | |

I imagine it would be tribunal or agreement between clubs and most likely we just agreed a fee or minimal fee and a sell on fee like 10%. Would doubt they could get a buy back in this case. | |

There are a few 17/18YOs who are already making PL squads regularly.
