Another one massively overhyped, now in his 20's having played the bulk of his football in the third tier, which is about his level anyway.
Wolves in recent years have hoarded a lot of uninspiring younger players, for no real reason, two of which ended up here and could arguably make our worst ever 11 in Will Norris (keeper who played much of his football in non-league) - how he ended up playing in the Premier League at all is a miracle so unbelievable you'd probably expect to find it in Old Testament, and Luke Matheson, who not only failed to make the grade at Wolves, but Bolton and now plays in the National League. I remember there being a lot of hype around Matheson when he was at Rochdale, although looking at his Wikipedia he only made 18 league appearances before moving to Wolves, which evidently did not work out. |  | | |

You could argue Omari now at Milan. Depends on how strict you are on improve. Not sure he's jumped up levels since the prem season with us but has played as well with bigger clubs.
Going back a bit Jon Walters jumps out as doing well after us, not many others instantly do that haven't been mentioned. |  | | |

You could see from watching him after 10 minutes he wasn't good enough, his agent must have worked wonders to get him that Wolves gig, even we saw he wasn't good enough at our lowest point and after what two games, never played him again! | |

We had a few back then. Walters, McAuley and Delaney all went on to have several good years in the PL. shows we had some talent in the building even if we didn’t know what to do with it. |  |
