It's mad isn't it. I've always quite enjoyed lower league football as it was competitive etc, but the actual football element as you say is shocking across the leagues the lower you get, which i appreciate is a bit obvious, but it just makes it so hard to enjoy

Went to a step 7 game and really enjoyed it. Have tried to embrace the break (as annoying as first found it). Played some football, watched lower league games, England games and Ipswich ladies. Not the same but have enjoyed it.

Popular TV show reference there! And what’s wrong with international football anyway? I’m not a huge fan but it’s still footie. The Welsh stuff is of more interest to me anyway even if they are sh*t. There’s a passion from just being involved that we don’t get with the English team (plus the missus controls the remote so I have no choice than to watch them!).

| Breaks like these is why i hate international football on 19:37 - Oct 4 with 1129 views | itfctilidie | Been very painful having no itfc for 3 weeks. Can't stand internationals unless it's a big tournament. Luckily filled the weekends with the finals of rugby and afl in Australia. Looking forward to getting back into some football next weekend though | | | |
| Breaks like these is why i hate international football on 19:40 - Oct 4 with 1121 views | Mark | International football isn't helped by setting up the Nations League in my opinion. We all understand we need to play qualifiers for the World Cup and Euros, but what we don't need is this new, complicated competition. England should not be in a league, and I don't agree with promoting and relegation international teams. | | | |
| Breaks like these is why i hate international football on 04:15 - Oct 5 with 836 views | Illinoisblue | All international qualifiers should be banned. Colossal waste of everyone’s time. Have national teams meet up in the summer - two weeks at most - for a straight knockout tournament, play every other day until we have a winner. Infinitely more interesting than the current setup. | |

I know that it’s fashionable to dislike international football but I really it. I love the WC and the Euros - qualifiers can seem to be a bit of a slog but that’s the price for great tournaments.
