Richalison is so good, 50 mil is a mental transfer fee but he is some player. I was living in Brazil last year and following Fluminense while I was out there, and he was carrying them until he got sold to Watford. They had a big lad up front (Henrique Dourado) who nodded in Richalison's crosses, a compact defence and apart from that just played on the counter looking for Richalison as the outball every time and counting on his pace and skill to take it up the pitch and put it on the big man's head. Scored a fair few too.
His form may well have dropped off from November but bear in mind his season began in February in Brazil and November is when the season finishes over there. Add in his young age and expecting him to keep going for a year and a half without a break or preseason is expecting too much. |  |
