He's not exactly got the odds stacked in his favour here. Evans HAS to push the boat out a bit in January to replace the quality we lost at the end of last season imo, and that's assuming we don't lose more in January. The only possible caveat to that is if Lambert can come in with some fresh ideas and suddenly transform some of PH's signings. He's got time - by the time we get to Jan, the new guy will have had as long with the sqaud as Hurst did! |  |
