No Nolan or JD tomorrow by the looks of it. What do we reckon?

I would go go for..

Holy
Edwards Chambers Woolf Wilson Garbutt
Skuse Downes Judge
Norwood Jackson

Norris, Kenlock, Huws, Sears, Bishop, Keane, Dozell

Who cares. We will lose whoever he puts out. The manger, owner and players are all clueless.

Should be the same side that played at Wycombe, bar Holy for Norris.

Poll: An interesting day for our politicians, but which one is worse?

Edwards at wing back makes me sad.

Agree. Keane, Bishop and Sears from the bench. Done 3-nil.

Poll: Who would be your managerial preference between these two?

Suspect it will be close to what the OP has said, might see Huws in place of Skuse but I doubt it.

Agree.

Huws to keep his place please.

Also saw their star player Sean McConville is out for the season.

Poll: Would love to know the opinions on here now of Lambert genuinely?

Think that's probably our best side while the RB situation isn't resolved and Bish isn't ready to start. Although I really hope that Lambert has seen last week's performance from him as a real signal that we should expect more from our attacking midfielders and that Judge needs to fight for his place.

Another option is to put Skuse into the back three to help with the distribution and that also brings Huws or Dozzell into the frame alongside Downes. I think we look more potent and forward-facing with either of them in the midfield.

I expect Keane is pretty close too.

So on the face of it, it seems we could have our current best-functioning and balanced formation with competition for places in a number of positions. Now watch us do something else entirely and play Edwards and Garbutt as full backs with a wandering, stuttering group of players ahead of them, trying to find their positions and a teammate.

He's a lot better there than RB or even as a RM. Give him space to run into (and a covering CB behind and he can use his strengths rather than always having his weaknesses exposed).

I'd agree that it's not the long-term solution (that's KVY or AN Other). But the real advantage is that it briogs Garbutt into play further up the pitch instead of being a bit hemmed in at LB. He's probably our most threatening outfield player at present.

Judge did the press call today, the player doing so seems to get dropped to the bench for the game so....
