By current day I mean at the age and stage of career they're currently at.

Mick McCarthy in a heartbeat. Thought it was time for Mick to leave, but he did an outstanding job in reflection, deserved funds that Paul Hurst got.

Hurst generated funds himself, by selling some decent players.

It was that and what he did with those funds that was the start of his short but dreadful tenure.

But under Mick McCarthy, Kieffer Moore, Daryl Murphy and Tyrone Mings were all sold for substantial figures. I think it is fair to say Mick McCarthy was never given a true reinvestment into the squad.

Did a fantastic job here to be fair to him.

Don't worry, we're well and truly still in the #bantzera and have been for the past 15 years or so.

Even in his current state of health, Alf Ramsey* would do a better job than hurst.
