Good interview really. I don't expect him to have the answers, that's why we have a manager and coaches. And he rightly doesn't really back up the "effort" question as that's not been the issue this season or indeed last. The problem feels much more mental and not getting the details right as individuals and as a team, so that effort is ultimately aimless and you end up not doing enough to win games no matter how much you run.
The real kick in the teeth is that we're having this conversation as a mid-table team in League One and still on the slide. |  |
