Any proper Blake's 7 fans? 19:34 - Apr 24 with 594 views

Watching them again for theumpteenth time- with the additional time I have...

So good- and soooo rebootable with modern effects and series arc sensibilities. I reckon I could write it. I am probably kidding myself.

Who could play Avon?

I was convinced that if they remade it- with Paul Darrow still around, he had to return as Avon and be some sort of ageing mentor to a new crew. but with him sadly gone, we need a real reboot... Who plays the key role? I have one idea- but he's american...

There were plans to remake B7 years ago, but nothing ever came of it.

Brilliant stories and great characters, but the production values lt it down a bit.

I'd love to see it remade, so long as they didn't lose the great qualities of the original.

For Blake I think Harrison Ford could do it, or maybe Liam Neeson.

Avon needs someone appropriately arrogant yet charming, I'll have to think about that and the rest f them for a while.

I've not seen it in about 20 years but it's an excellent series.

As you say, it's an excellent candidate for a reboot and I thought the BBC were working on one a few years back but not heard anything in ages.

I'll have a think about who could play Avon.
