Slot booked at Bury St Edmunds tip for Friday.

It was worth waiting for the website to go live at three this afternoon.

If any of you want to book, here's the link

Go on then, what are you taking there?

I have couple of spent AA batteries and a book with a cover that has dropped off so am keen to get a slot booked myself.

I also have a few old t-shirts but see those are not being accepted atm.

Mainly waste products from the nuclear fusion propulsion system I'm building in the garage.

I'm planning to have it completed some time after Gav's 'summer update'.

Can you not just put it all in a plastic bag an dump it in the Abbey gardens?

Yeah that is odd isn't it.

You'd think that priority would go the other way towards trade.

have you seen, and anyone who might be expecting to just drive past the tips normally, theyll be closing the roads to support their appointment system ?

https://www.ipswichstar.co.uk/news/foxhall-recycling-centre-reopens-but-foxhall-

why not just offer fewer appointment slots to begin with till the system is up and running again!!!

It's because they are checking appointments at the entrance, before you turn off Foxhall Road. The diversion via Bell Lane and Woodbridge Road adds about 2 minutes to journeys, so not really an issue.

Oh, and don't tell anyone but the tip is flipping' bliss. Loads of space, easy to distance. I enjoyed it so much, I'm going again next week!

The guy manning the road didn't check anything he just said have you got a booking. I was checked going in though. On my way out a guy who had lied his way past the road blockage got turned away by the guy on the gate.

I agree an almost enjoyable experience. It should always be bookings!
