I've seen him being mentioned, surely worth a trial

I assume he has had some SPL experience in recent years?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

He has - and was captain of Dundee (?) I believe.

Wilson is pretty poor, but still better than Toto.

Would ideally lose both of them this Summer.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

So he must be a decent character, well worth a trial I'd suggest?

He was an academy prospect before moving onto Scotland

Edit: was he at Inverness with Butcher?

Meekings moved to Callie because Butcher was manager, despite Butcher moving on to Hibernian a couple of years later Meekings established himself as one half of a solid central defensive partnership with Gary Warren. Made one hundred and sixty three appearances for Inverness, I saw one of them and there was certainly a good 'unit' feel to the pairing and Meekings played with a smile of his face. However the second time I went to see Callie he was out injured (and a well organised St. Johnstone side pulled them all over the place). The last four years do seem to have been a bit injury ravaged for Meekings but he is still only twenty seven, a good age for a central defender to sort out how best to cope with the limitations of their body and to apply tactical nous, even a few of the dark arts. On that note he spent some time playing a three man central defence at Dundee alongside Christophe Berra...

Dundee fans don’t rate him. Also give the old classic ‘stealing a living’ having spent a lot of time out injured recently.

Poll: Would you be happy with Paul Lambert?
