I feel violated 19:32 - Aug 12 with 1424 views | bluelagos | Listening to the debates around the govt handling of the A'level grades and I keep hearing teachers stating that sometimes they down mark mock exams to give lazy students a kick up the arse to ensure they work hard for the real thing. As a student who did sfa work prior to getting rubbish mock grades, I am now doubting those grades as nothing more than a well intentioned (and successful) attempt to give me a kick up the backside. What annoys me, is that I never realised I was being played. I know it was for the best, but... [Post edited 12 Aug 2020 19:39]

Practically everything I wrote got about 40-50% In the second and third year writing of exact same merit got 60-70%. Silly cow.

Amount of people who wax lyrically in old offices I’ve worked in about being Google Analytics certified yet still had to ask me how to do what I consider simple stuff you could figure out via Google or clicking about. I’m self taught on it mostly with a lot of other tidbits I’ve learned from others. Old job made me do said test once, I just took the exam and Googled the questions as I went. I’ve told clients that too. LOL.
