My son had it a few weeks as a pre-op requirement before getting a wisdom tooth out in hospital...he said the up the nose swab was very unpleasant. Can't believe they've not found a less invasive way of testing yet...I'm sure this is putting some people off getting tested. |  | | |

I got a telling off from the operative for gagging each time he shoved the swab down my throat....

Yes, I have done both the swab and the antibody at different times.
Swab was deeply unpleasant. I did it back in April/May self administered and it was grim. |  | | |

I had it ahead of an op to, i thought the throat one was a lot worse. My op got cancelled meaning I have to have the swab again  |  |
