Without doubt. Considering they are very makeshift, they’ve looked the better side at times. We seem to be growing into the game, have spells of good play and then other times look very ordinary.

Lets be honest, they look better than we do so far - we just scored our chance. We'll need to up our game to see this one out. We look terrible at the back (back two are awful) and our forwards are offering very little threat as well. So basically as is, as was, and as ever will be until we start recruiting better.

It should be no surprise that they look decent because they have good players. They look more coherent than I would have expected because they have not trained together much.

However, the suggestion they will be alright is optimistic in my view. They have no depth and over the course of the season, unless they get supported financially to build a squad they will struggle. Probably not quite as much as Bolton did, though.

Which chance did we score? The one Bishop headed in, the one from Bishop that was touched onto the post, the one Sears had blocked when he should have squared it, the free kick from the edge of the box or one of the others I have missed?
