Disagree. I don't think there was any actual foul by Nsiala, more naivety. They were more or less side by side and Toto was using his bulk, which was foolish, and the guy bought the penalty. Bishop got a two handed shove in the back. | |

I'll need to watch it again but if by "using his bulk" you meant leant into him then I am not sure. I thought he had two hands on him at the time.
With Bishop he was side-on to the player and bumped off him - it could have been given but there are loads of them not given each week.
I am assuming here you are talking about the challenge on Bishop immediately before Nolan got sent off.

He put a hand on him outside the box then just stayed close, he should have moved aside as the lad was going nowhere and by sticking close to him it gave him a chance to throw himself to the ground and buy a penalty. Anyone watching would have seen Toto made his intentions clear before when he began to lay hands as they entered the box together.
Even I was shouting at the screen for him to keep his hands to himself.
Soft or otherwise, it was only going to end one way. He's a big lad and all he had to do was keep a straight line. |  |

Totally agree. And look, I don't have much argument on the penalty. It was poor defending and very naive, the ref wasn't great and he bought it. As a defender you need to be aware that might happen and make better decisions.
Last two games have been really poor, very reminiscent of our poor runs last season much like the first 6 games were reminiscent of our decent start last season. We've kept settled sides but there's no real evidence we're goewing as a side. It's all too reliant on bits of quality here and there. | |
