You clueless ****

I posted in the week that it wouldn't surprise me for him to drop Woolf and McGuiness for Toto or Wilson and he went and did it. To make it worse he dropped the one that is our player

I also said he'd start Judge and Sears and again this is at the detriment of the likes of Lankester and Dobra

Surely you people can see the damage he is doing?

That front 3 trying to control hoofs is going to be a horror show

"Surely you people can see the damage he is doing?"

This pretense that somehow you're the only one who can see that Lambert is crap is weird. 99% of posters think he's a useless hack.

Odd that I get so much abuse for it then. After a win you all put your posters of Shambo back on your walls and say he is 7/10 so far and he needs the season

It's almost as if you're getting grief for being an tedious one-note hack, who's more interested in empty PR slogans and getting people's attention and looking 'good' than actually constructing coherent points.

A bit like Lambert himself, ironically.

That's mainly because our midfield usually doesn't run off the ball well enough to link play between the defence and the forwards. Nolan and Huws are the worst culprits. It's especially apparent when Dozzell isn't playing. When it works (e.g. second half vs Portsmouth) it's pretty good stuff.
The manager's making the right call with a style of playing it out from the back, just needs his midfielders to do their jobs properly for 90 minutes.

That's not true either. Most of the abuse you get is for your Single White Female approach to Edwards.

The abuse you get regarding Lambert is because 1) you pretend you're the only one who sees it 2) you think that makes you special and 3) you start about fifteen threads a week of nothing other than a swear word and Lambert out. It's boring.

Your Lambert Out posts are this seasons Romford's Evans Out posts. Yes, we know, we agree, pipe down.

The issue is more to do with the front 3 being so isolated because he plays them across the width of the pitch making them so easy to mark and with no outlets

Plus, either Jackson or Judge will be playing through the middle today.

What this will mean in practice is that Jackson gets dropped for another 5 games after today and Judge stays in the side.

We have a front 3 with 0 hold up ability. I wonder if we will push the midfield line much higher..........lol of course I don't

Yes and no, some players can clearly do it, (Dozzell, Bishop, Dobra), but a lot of players are just too limited to play this way. Take Skuse for example, he'll take the ball off the defence, but when he's made his pass to another player, he's probably not going to make an angle to get the ball again in a more advanced position and develop the move. He's basically the same player as when he joined yet you'd have thought that instinct would've been coached into him. Speed and awareness are a lot harder to coach than tackling, passing, shooting etc.

The bigger criticism would be team selection, Huws certainly hasn't been deserving of a place in the team despite our injuries. When all are fit I'll be a bit disappointed if Downes, Dozzell and Bishop aren't starting every game, with Dobra, Nolan and McGavin as the back ups.

Dobra is persona non grata now since turning down the move on loan. Only way he gets in the team or squad now is if Lambert is sacked.

Maybe he's doing it deliberately as he sees Blubfish's hysteria? Maybe we're looking at the wrong person responsible.

How is the manager making the right call? If you're right that our midfield is too limited to play this way then why is he persisting with it? Why is he not coaching patterns into them every day so that the kind of movement needed becomes second nature?
