And we then beat Charlton... joint second after almost a third of the season. Not so bad, eh?

Hoping for snookers in the third division. What a time to be alive.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I know we have to try and stay positive, but honestly, what's the point? If we finish between 3rd and 6th (most likely), there is absolutely no chance we will go on and win 2 or 3 games against a decent side to get promoted.

Will we finish top 2? Not a chance at the moment.

It’s ok because we’ll finish in the top 4, big Jimmy Walker has already told us so.

And if not, Lambert and the rest of the teletubbies are going to ‘rap it up’, so it’s all pukka.

While I win the lottery, develop a cure cancer, stop global warming and sleep with Jenna Coleman

I do realise one of those is probably less likely than the others

Well there is no point, not whilst we’ve got Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne in charge.

I asked you that first!

Honestly, there isn't one. We're getting our hopes up again, but we all know it's not going to end well, so I guess we just go though the motions until it happens.

Well, quite. Is still a crap division with a handful of half-decent sides in it. I’m not sure where the fine line is between staying in contention and still changing the manager though.

Defeatism from the fan base is as tedious as that from the club.

Feels like the top 8 will shuffle positions back and forth pretty much right up until the end of the season. Don’t see anyone running away with it. If we get most of our injured players back over rent coming weeks we should be well placed for top six at least. Worryingly quiet on Bishop though... poor kid so deserves better luck

Why is between 3rd and 6th most likely? We are 5th and on the slide and we cannot compete with the top 8.

I would suspect a similar finish to last season is more likely. Was it 11th? Too much about this season is a very close repeat of last season.

As in we're more likely to finish in a PO place than top 2 - not that we're more likely to finish in the top 6 as opposed to lower - if that makes sense.

We should do better when some of our injured midfield players start coming back, but of course there will always be new injuries with us, there always are.

I would also say we are more likely to finish top 6 than bottom 3.

However, right now we are nailed on mid-table.
