Reminds me of too many times being hungover/still drunk, feeling cr@p, worthless and sorry for yourself. I've also listened to it loads of times WHILE feeling the above. Great song.
That's what you get from clubbing it You can't go home and go to bed Because it hasn't worn off yet And now it's morning There's only one place we can go It's 'round the corner in Soho Where other broken people go...

At dances in and around Woodbridge my best mate, my wife and myself always danced to this. My mates wife could not stand the song. My mate died suddenly and very unexpectedly nine and a half years ago and for a year or so after his passing I could not even listen to the song without breaking down. In more recent years my wife and I dance to it when on holiday and in our minds my late best mate is on the dancefloor with us.

The first chorus happened to me just the way he sang it. Cold December day, Gas boiler went kaput, frost on the ground and my car, a Ford escort, wouldn't start. I couldn't go to work and get warm so I spent all day trying to get a plumber and waiting for the car to defrost.
Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?
