Cricket : Looks like the Aussies are going to be disapointed 07:10 - Jan 11 with 608 viewsCoastalblue

Really good batting effort from India to blunt the Aussies, is this a three test series? Great if so, prevent a series win too.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

One more test next week.

Shame as they could have won that if it was not for the injuries.

Considering how many injuries they have had, being away from home most teams would have rolled over after that first test defeat so massive credit to them.

They are doing this without Kohli, Yadav, Sharma and then this test Jadeja, Pant and Vihari all carrying injuries.

Proper cricket, not Hit-and-Giggle.

That is an incredible result for India and a moral victory, what a defiant batting display. They had so many things going against them going into this test and during it with Pant's elbow injury, although he returned to score a brilliant 97, and Jadeja's fractured thumb and they still deliver a performance like that. Soon as Rahane went early, I thought this was going to be over in a hurry, how wrong I was. This has been a great series with neither side giving an inch. On to the 4th test, who is going to blink first?

India seem better captained by Rahane than Kohli or is this just me? I wonder if Kohli's ego would allow it to be a permanent change, so he can concentrate solely on his batting.

Good to see Steve Smith back as well, caught on stump camera rubbing the guard marks of the Indian batsmen off the crease. No doubt we’ll get the usual contrite apology of momentary lapse of judgement won’t happen again with full water works as well. Truth is he hasn’t learned anything perhaps another ban is due.

Not just him, it seems Tim Paine has been drawn to the dark arts of the Aussie way too. I do thoroughly enjoy it when the Aussies come unstuck, just makes my day. Hope Smith's actions are looked at closely by ICC officials. Is that in the spirit of the game?

I think it's what is called a winning draw.

For our American Twtdrs, it really is possible to celebrate a draw in cricket, even after 5 days. It just is. :-)

Hadn’t read what Paine was up to, I’d say it’s not in the spirit of the game and he’s getting it on Twitter from Sehwag and David Lloyd.

Mind can just imagine the outcry on Twitter if it had been around for Nasser getting Tendulkar stumped down the leg side!

Sledging Ashwin, although Ashwin comes back with a brilliant remark himself, then Paine replies with a derogatory comment. He’s then laughing when Wade is mocking Ashwin’s injury, a decent captain would’ve told him to cut it out instead of lowering himself to Wade’s level. The Aussies showing their true colours.

Not surprised the racist remarks from the crowd show what the Aussie sporting public think ( no better in rugby with booing the kicker no one does that anywhere else ).

At least we have some test cricket on Thursday with England v Sri Lanka, be nice to have the cricket on while I work!
