Why are people convinced Lambo will be gone anytime soon? 12:57 - Feb 20 with 1065 views | bluelagos | McCarthy's departure was long after his relationship with the fans had disintegrated but Evans stuck with him for months longer than most fans wanted. So why are people expecting anything different this time? I think Lambert stays in post until we can't make the playoffs so a couple more months I reckon before Evans pulls the trigger...

Why are people convinced Lambo will be gone anytime soon? on 13:10 - Feb 20 with 1000 views | J2BLUE | Same. There seems to be a feeling that it can't possibly go on. Just like people said a couple of months ago. I'm expecting some statement talking about the loanees gelling, we still believe, one final push etc etc. All the usual BS.

Why are people convinced Lambo will be gone anytime soon? on 13:11 - Feb 20 with 975 views | J4ck22 | Mick still had fans in his corner for a long time, Lambert has lost nearly all support.
Why are people convinced Lambo will be gone anytime soon? on 13:12 - Feb 20 with 972 views | pointofblue | The difference is Mick was exceeding the sum of the squad’s parts even when the relationship of the fans was souring. He also clearly had the players on side and he hadn’t criticised the structure of the club to the press. None of the above can be levelled at Lambert. [Post edited 20 Feb 2021 13:12]

Why are people convinced Lambo will be gone anytime soon? on 13:14 - Feb 20 with 932 views | SamWhiteUK | Lambert has come out and basically called out Evans, and Evans's name is now across national media linked with the club being really badly run. He won't be happy with that, it won't exactly reflect well on his rep in his other businesses

Although Lambert hasn't told the fans to F**k off yet. Jesus, can't believe I'm writing this, what an absolute shower the past few years have been.

I think the fans are about the only group he hasn’t said it to yet. Potential season ticket sales will dictate his departure, though.

Mick was an excellent manager, it was just time for him to move on.

I always felt quite fortunate to have a manager like Mick Mac, however I think you are right it was time for him to go. In the end it ended like all his jobs, he comes in fire fights get it moving in the right direction, and then it turns and he then he can’t change it enough to keep the job, but that’s what really happens at every club everyone gets restless and bang they are gone. And so it goes on the cycle just keeps turning and repeating, I think this lot on here would have hung Sir Bobby out to die back in 1970, thank god there was no online platforms around then we may never have at least had some memories of such a great man.
