All good thanks Keno. Best news I have is I think I have a trustworthy house sitter / tenant lined up from July so expect some serious travel plans to be getting made ovee the coming months.

One option would be to sort a motorbike and say ride to China or Cape Town. Main issue would be border crossings given all things CV.
Would do it on Honda 250 Crf ralleye thing, similar to what I used in Peru (see my FB profile pic). Versatile, light and you can easily strap on a couple of roll bags.
But just dont see borders being open to al/easy to cross for another year tbh

Got a ladrador that constantly licks it self.....no it’s not bored it gets hours running on fields daily, work a nightmare due to raw material costs in the granulate side of plastics being unstable to say the least, wife’s PMT and lockdown in general and the house extension is taking forever with builders in every morning at 7am.
As starts to the week in lock down go, actually managing to get out of bed and switch the washing machine on at six o'clock when the alarm went off, and then actually getting up after a single snooze when the alarm went off again at eight so that I could hang the washing out on the only dry morning forecast this week is a great start. That I have subsequently stayed awake and have now brought in a load of washing that is almost dry is fecking amazing. But let things down a bit by putting the central heating on for an hour, so the ironing (which makes a nice keeping warm alternative) is not going to get done anytime soon.
And for some reason I cannot fathom I am almost through listening to 'Tales from Topographic Oceans' for what must be the first time in forty five years.
After leaving the teaching profession in Sept and taking some time out to consider options, started new job this morning. Temp position but hooefully something that could lead to more.
